Project Overview
This project focused on redesigning the reporter news page that is put only RIT students. It included having to rebrand the reporter but also to redesign and animate prototypes using after effects.

Desktop & Mobile Sketching
Sketches included many alternative ways to view not only the home page but also viewing an article on the page. I also wanted to focus on the category that each article fit into
Style
I decided to go with the complementary moodboard because I thought the peach would be a great way to use the color in terms of rebranding but also has a youthful vibe which would target the RIT community the best

Mobile Wireframes
When it came time to focusing on wireframes, I decided to explore with different ways to scroll through articles but also to view them that might be different than some news page sites today

Desktop Wireframes
Exploring layouts for viewing articles effectively with the ability to browse by article category as a main focus feature. One challenge I faced was having to find the most effective way to organize the page with multiple articles while also avoiding clutter

In this round of design comps, I tried to specify a style and color palette however after creating these designs it was clear there was still more work left to be done

Final thoughts..
Being able to refine and complete my final designs allowed me to also think about the user experience when it came time to animate the UI. Integrating simple interactions helped to improve the overall design
